Your X looks great with those 214s and even the non-OEM RBs don't detract from the looks!

The interior is very classy ... the black on black trim just can't be beat.

Ekval,
You got your X looking stunning now with the new rims. Man, that's one nice package now
What exactly are the 'steel tubes' you used on the exhaust tips ??

Hi Foomph.

Very pleased with the result yeah.. The 20" makes such a difference from the 18".. And the amount of rubber looks good too..

Next week ill get my titanium grill and led tailights, and then that should be it for a while..

The steel tubes, it's probably just confusing neglish, it's the OEM stainless steel coveralls for the tubes.. I used to have the black type earlier. I bought the stainless steel ones from mtx5..

I removed the (yellowed over time) lenses from my 740iL headlights also. It allowed a ton more light and still kept the same focus, plus it allows you to see more chrome and makes them look more updated. I have projectors on my 7, but the X doesn't...do you think removing the lenses would affect the lowbeam lighting since if the lens covers were gone?

Also, your corners are clear...did you just pop off the yellow lens covering the bulb? I'm hoping it's that simple, then i'll only need to replace the taillights and sidemarkers to complete the clear look.

Last question...I have staggered rims on my 7, but it's only rear wheel drive. With the X being AWD, does having staggered rims mess w/ anything?

I think the low beam will be affected if its not xenon.

Im not sure how much, but maybe someone on the forum knows.?

The non xenon highbeams turns out a lot more "pointy_" then before when removing the wafers.

The amber/clear reflector on the turnsignals came straight of with me.. Just took it off and put in a silver chrome turn signal bulb.

The stag setup doesnt mess up anything, cause the rolling distance per turn is the same on the tires.. The 275 and the 315 with this profile, rolls almost the exact same distance per turn..

Perfect, so I assume you simply had to "bake" them to crack them open?

I'm just going to have to get projector headlights. I've seen E36 M3 guys install HID's in the non-projector headlights and the light is just way too scattered in the lens (making them look brighter than they are) and poorly lit on the road (ruining the whole idea of HID's). Thanks.
