Thats my opinion.
+1 (sought of)
When viewing your ride from side on there is a well balanced theme of black with, for want of a word(s) 'soft silver/titanium'. So why not keep that flowing through to the front end with a titanium grill (with I presume a chrome surround)?? Plus you'll have the best of both worlds in that if you don't like it you can do an unusual combo of black gloss surround with the titanium grill. Reckon that would look pretty sick Different is good sometimes, especially if you do it in style and good taste

While we're talking about spending your money, don't forget to order a front skid pan then paint it titanium. Easy mod with high impact that sticks out like dogs nuts on a canary

I agree! Base on my "trial & error" when I was modding my X, I feel the whole Kidney grill is "lost" when it's all black. And for my case, I didn't like the Chrome surrounding either as it didn't go with my theme. So it was either
A - Black surrounding with original Titanium grill, or
B - Silver surrounding with Black grill

I chose A because it gives it more "depth / dimension" and details to the front.

Anyway, that's just my opinion as well.

Have fun ;-)

I will try option A soon..

Black surrondings with titanium grill..

Im not to keen about the chrome with the black either..

Also, after putting on the titanium grill with chrome, the car seems longer.. Streched if you know what i mean..

Ill post pics of the setup later..

Nice rims michael22x5.. Simple and nice.. I usually prefer simpler wheels like those or the 87's.. But the 214 has got something about them...

I've seen those on ebay, and I need clear corners like you wouldn't believe!! Do they give off any light codes? My buddy got some chrome clears w/ LED's on his 750iL and it goes back and forth between giving a code or not at all, it's quite annoying since I use the OBC to monitor coolant temps in the summer time.
