warranty / fluid / trim '06 X5 4.4i

I am a NOVICE in every sense of the word to BMWs and forums . . . and am thankful for this group. I bought an 2006 x5, 4.4i, last week and just getting used to it.

Three initial questions:
extended warranty - mine runs out this december; should i purchase the extended from the dealership?

washer fluid - i read earlier posts about the leaking fluid and think I might be in the same category. within the 10 days of driving the car; it's already back to 'low washer fluid' level and was topped off when i purchased it. is this something that should be under warranty?

interior trim - i have the dark poplar and it is cracking/blistered looking into two places. the dealership said this wasn't under warranty; but then someone advised me to write a letter. has anyone had these problems?

if the trim is cracking on the doors, it's covered.

Washer fluid issue and interior trim are both covered. Go to a different dealer if necessary.

Do some reading about extended warranties on this site as there are lots of options and opinions. Also considered the extended maintenance plan. Here is a good read:

I don't think you can do the extended warranty with BMW if you're not the original owner. Only coverage for 2nd hand owners is the CPO program. Only choice now is an aftermarket warranty, which are a real gamble, IMHO. I would rather stash away the rainy day funds than go with those aftermarket warranty companies.

TaMbALoLoNg is an unknown quantity at this point
Is yours a CPO? Q2 and Q3 SHOULD be covered under warranty (my dealer replaced all my interior trim and driverside visor free of charge)
