Very nice Aaron. Funny you should mention the wheels because as I was looking at the pics I knew you would be slapping on some big kicks.

As for FF, you will just have to wait.

Have you gotten any tickets for no front plate yet???
Thanks!

I haven't had any problems with no front plate - but that's probably because the car is still registered in PA, where only a rear plate is required

Yes, it was a lot for one weekend, and the transformation was astounding! (Can't wait to see it with the 20" #87 wheels with 315 tires in back... )

I picked up most of the hardware on my own - gauge rings for $30 from Bavarian-Motorwerks, H&R spacers for $180 from Turner Motorsports, hitch & running boards for 25% off at Paul Miller BMW in NJ (thanks for the heads-up on that, LeMans) - so the OEM First-Aid kit and all the labor came to a little over $600.
(By the way, I do not have adjustable ride height. The front air suspension is not compatible with Dinan camber plates - which I feel are a must! - so I made sure not to check-off that option on my list.)

Thanks to everyone for the compliments!

Do you have the hieght adjustable suspension on yours. I currently have the style 87 20s but am puitting the stock wheels with snows on it in a couple of weeks. you will love the way your x looks with the 20s when you get them. I dont want to take mine off. but it sucks in the snow with them on. Anyway good luck with the X5 and kepp us posted on new mods.
Can you post some pics of your X5 with the 4.8is bumpers? Thanks.

DinanX5: Awesome pics. I still love the chrome gauge rings...shockingly I never could get my instrument cluster open, so I was never able to install them. I tried everything possible, and in the end, the X-tabs ended up shredded but they would not go into position to allow me to open it. If anyone makes it to Reno that knows how to get it open, beers are on me.
