Door Lock and Window problems

Hey there,

Got up this morning to find that the passenger side door lock and window aren't working.

Slightly worried cause I know the regulators for the windows go from time to timer and are expensive things to fix.

It was pretty cold last night and the car was out so not sure if it is just coincidence or if that played a part?

Anyone experienced the same and have any tips?

Cheers

If it was very cold, usually below 30F, the door lock doesn't work sometimes. I've met this kind of problem several times. If you want to make it work immediately, pour some warm water to the window, and you can hear a click sound, which means the door lock works again. But remember this way could only make your door lock work temporarily. It will be fine during the day with sunshine.
