What's the best setting to prevent fogging?

It's getting cold and snowy in Colorado soon. I was wondering whats the best setting to put the climate control at to prevent my windows from fogging up. I plan on going up to the mountains this weekened for snowboarding. I like the car to be warm.

I take the HVAC off of Auto and hit the up arrow on the flow control. If you hit the front defroster it basically goes into MAX which I can't stand, so I just use the up arrow and any of the others and adjust the fan manually.

Unfortunately keeping the car warm is what causes the fogging. The temperature difference between the outside/glass and the interior is what does it. Having said that though, you don't want to keep the car cold so getting some fresh air in seemed to help me keep fogging down. (This was when I lived in a place where there were real winters.) Another idea is just to let the interior warm up slowly rather than having hot air pour out immediately.

I'm assuming you're talking about your windows fogging up while driving, not while you're parked. :p

Quit letting it rip in the car...the fog problem will be reduced.

Strange as it sounds, turn on the AC! The AC evaporator will take all of the moisture out of the incoming air. You can still have warm air with the AC on. Guaranteed it works

Yep, the Ac makes the air quite dry. Works well.

As all said above: Max defrost for quick relief, otherwise turn off Auto clime, hit A/C button (snowflake), put on Upward arrow vent control, fan speed as desired, adjust heat as desired, add footwell and/or "middle vent" as desired. This isn't CO, but it works in these cold lil'mtns or even on long drives, like a charm. Have Never had a fogging prob. Also, if you hit rear defrost for back liftgate glass, mine defogs my outside rearview mirrors in seconds in Any low temp.

Turn off the recirc, it’s the difference in humidity between inside and outside air that makes the fogging. Bring in the outside humidity and equalize.
