How do I remove this panel?

I need some tips on how to remove this panel. I removed what I thought it would free it up but it is still not moving and I don't want to break something. Any help is appreciated.

I don't believe that panel (on either side) is removeable. I could be wrong though. Maybe shoot off a PM to Weasel or mrbmw.

Weasel will become famous soon enough
All panels are removable

Unfortunately if I remember right for that panel, there are mounting screws or plastic rivets on the top of the panel under the plastic trim, and some more plastic rivets on the front edge behind the upper rear seat ends.

I will be out of town all next week so not on the forum, but I'm sure someone who has removed it for different audio stuff, or someone with TIS repair info can chime in and help.

Yes I have had mine off twice and all I can say is it is a PITA to get off... One of the main things you need to remove is that tie down strap loop (or however you want to call it) at the bottom. There are two bolts securing it under the plastic cover. and if I remember correctly there are several fasteners under that plastic railing on top, so you have to completely remove it....

Why hasn't anyone asked the obvious? Why are you removing it?
