Might Need new Grills for 04' X5

Wife was driving the X5 today and the car in front of her kicked up a hunk of retread, it did some damage to the drivers side grill. I haven't had a chance to pull it apart yet, but I pretty sure there are some busted clips. I figured I might as well see what is availalable as far as replacement options (possibly colors), and how much $ it will cost to repair.

Any info will be appreciated.

Thanks!

Shouldn't be too expensive if it's just the kidney grills, check ebay, there's a lot of replacements. You can even change colors (all black) or keep it OEM, some look cheesy but you can find some quality stuff for not too much $$$. You can also check around for people who already upgraded their grills and might have their OEM's in the garage someplace...

So the kidney grills on ebay are legit? The grills I have now are black w/chrome trim. So anybody have a D-side grill OEM to offload? Or I guess I would entertain the Titanium ones too, but I would need both...

Thanks again!

Not much into the chrome look. Ended up buying some titanium one from the dealer. I still have my original ones (black with chrome trim) for the 2004+ front end. If you want them, just pay for shippng.

Let me know,
Daniel

see, everything worked out! I'm a former Wrangler owner who did the whole parts thing, what one person changes out could be what someone else wants, so it's just a matter of getting hooked up to the right people!
