Poll: Black (Gunmetal) Wheels vs. Silver Wheels

I have noticed more than a few X5s are wearing wheels that are finished in black or gunmetal. I did not like the darker wheels at first because they reminded me of wheels that needed cleaning..... but now they are starting to grow on me.

To finish in a darker color or not? That is the question.

check out simoncpw he has the same wheels on silver as titanium silver X5 as well... i'm actually thinking about doing it myself.

I've seen some very interesting "black" chrome work, done on wheels
lately. It is sort of gunmetal gray, but with a deeper look and doesn't
rely on any flake in the paint or powdercoating, to give the wheel
some depth...I know, I know: I'm looking for pics to put up.

As to "which", it's your ride and none of us know/like your X better
than you!

I want to get my chrome 19's redone because they are chipped on the inside lip.I think the darker color looks great on titanium silver(thats what I have).

For me, "Tires" are meant to be Black not Wheels
