Typically the new connectors just slide right into the pads. It sounds like you have a new set of pads already, but if not, we do have our RPS kits available that include new rotors / pads / sensors. It's highly suggested to replace the sensors when changing out the pads.

if the brake pads and rotors were replaced and you have no abs light on then dont bother putting new sensors in...the old ones are fine.

Just helped my friend overhaul his 540i and it required only two...one for front, and one for rear. It's a simple process to plug them into the top of the caliper piston-side brake pad.

I found it very hard to remove the sensor without breaking the metal clip. I tried to re-use my old sensor but I broke it on the way out.
Could someone educate us on a great or secret technique to remove the sensor without damaging it? |
