Looks much better without it IMO. Why not try taking the matching piece on the sunroof off as well? It would look even cleaner.

Hood and front grills have to match so for those who did the DIY titanium change, did you have to primer first? It might be more expensive to buy so I think i can do this.

It looks very out of place and dated when on the vehicle...worst than black wheels.

Even though I have a hood protector on mine (see below), I will have to say that I like yours better without it. Due to the dark tint of this piece, the only color that it looks good on is the Sterling Gray:

Better without, but if worried about chips, re-install it when putting your X on the highways
