Drilled Slotted Rotors for E53 4.8is

Can't find anything anywhere. Any suggestions on web site?

Basically it's probably time to replace brakes so I'm thinking of just replacing rotors as well since it's the original and it's never been done. Any sites I can research? I'm looking for them to look good obviously

why spend the extra doe? measure the rotors first, if they are above spec, chamfer the sides of the new brake pads, and then install.

Go get rotors from Napa or Autozone. Lifetime warranty. And before you look down on the suggestions, a LOT of club racecars use cheapo rotors. It's the pads that matter.

Just wanted to be sure you know that aftermarket, replacement slotted and cross-drilled rotors are for show only. Carry on.

vinuneuro and FSETH beat me to it...

If the OP's motivation is better braking, better pads and fluid is the key.

HOWEVER, it don't mean a thing if it ain't got that bling, right? LOL!

Flush with Ford HD brake fluid.
Porterfield R4-S pads.
Mill the rotor if needed.

Done.

thanks everyone. My motivation is mostly better looks LOL. BUT - I don't want to lose anything on the braking either so i don't want better looks worse braking. I had a nice set on my silver ones so now i miss the look too.

Plus i need another hit (mod).

SO with that said and reading the feedback, is "for show" mean worse braking? Or Can I get "for show" rotors and do the fluid flush and get better pads and still have good braking?

I don't care for the ceramics since my wheels are gray and that doesn't make much of a difference anymore. Plus I got some wheel gel that will hopefully keep the dust off..

What does Mill the rotor mean?

advisors.. carry on..

Great suggestion;

So your saying "all rotors" are created equal?
