Headlight replacement (I searched)
I have a 2001 4.4i Sport (with the factory clear corners).
I have tried the Crystal View product before here:http://web.donvilleonline.com/bmw/x5/headlights.html BEFORE ![]() AFTER ![]() But leaving the SAV outside in the Florida sun has taken its toll on them again. I tried sanding them again, and they don't seem to be getting any better like before. I am ready to replace the headlights to get the NEW look to the truck again. I saw these on Ebay, made by DEPO (good quality I have used before on other BMW) http://link.photo.pchome.com.tw/s08/.../123742408087/ EXCEPT, these are for HID, which I don't have. I see everyone saying don't buy the ebay lamps, they are cheap, and we should get them from angelibright or jlevisw. Well, when I visit the AiB website, it seems they are selling KITS to retrofit angel eyes, and not a complete lamp assembly. 2 Questions... 1) Where do you recommend I get an entire lamp assembly for NON-HID headlights 2) Can you use the H7 bulb in the HID assembly listed above if I don't have HID, or is the aiming not set up for a H7 bulb? |
