Trouble starting after rain storm

I have a 2003 4.4i with 73,000 which I bought about two weeks ago. Today when I got out of work I went to start it after a very really bad rain storm had just happened. It didn’t idle well at all… seemed like it was about to stall RPM’s around 500. Then the “low oil press. Stop engine now” light came on! After about 5 more seconds the light went off and was idling fine. I checked the oil level, which was fine and it drove home as normal. Does anyone know what this could be!???
