Have your SA look for suckers like me that have to have the Dinan exhaust!

I've called Life Quality BMW in Brooklyn and also Bay Diagnostics. The dealership said they do not do any after-market mods so they would not have them. Alan, at B.D. said all the owners take it with them and suggested I get in contact with a junk yard. .

Any other advice is appreciated!

Other places I would keep an eye out is:

For Sale section of this forum.
For Sale section of other BMW forums.
Junkyards
Craigslist (I like using Google for this. Try your search term and then specify site:craigslist.org/pts that will search all of craigslist auto parts section for your search term).
It would look something like this:

X5 exhaust site:craigslist.org/pts
Don't be afraid to search outside of your local area. To ship my 4.8is pipes to Tom, it was $80 and that was for shipping, packing, stuffing, etc.

After calling many scrap yards, junk yards, etc. No one seems to be even carrying an X5. However, I did learn that NY shops cannot sell used mufflers?

I'm taking a look on ebay, will an E70 4.8 muffler, fit my e53 3.0? There was one on ebay for $400...

guess i should have just blown smoke and said it was amazing... its a 3.0
thats looks just like a 4.6 kinda'. pick another word for clone then.. add a few more "mods" even. fk it it reminds when you see the ultra rare540iM5 or the mb 320 amg

No need to be negative. If someone did something nice to their car, we congratulate them. Just my 0.2cent

that's because the 3.0 is amazing. I sold my 4.6is to get back into one. with suspension mods I can't imagine any SUV that can outhandle it, and I've driven most of the top of line german SUV's.

If you regularly drive from 80 to 150 the 4.6is may be more fun yea, but in day to day use the 3.0 is waaay more fun to me, so why not make it look incredible? 90% of the people on the street will not even know there were 3 e53 X5 models.
