Programming lights

I recently had my X5 (04) in for service and had an e90 as a loaner. When I unlocked the car the angels would come on. Can this be programmed into my x5?

i did remember reading where someone made a wire harness for this purpose. I believe it can be modded.

I think Twinspoppa has had success with making his angel eyes in to DRL.

not sure if it can be done to a X5 but worked on e39... umnitza has a harness for AE's. It connects to your ECU for power *DRL if you want* and for the trigger it goes to your foot light *ex. Inside lights come on when you unlock your car...thus turning on AE's* but im not exactly sure about the DRL part.
