how to change splash screen???

Hi i want to change splash screen on my x5 4.8is i looked every where no one give step by step instructions every one talks about it and show it how cool it looks please help.

You're not getting any responses, likely because this site if full with info on this one. Just search for a software update on MK3, MK4 and you will find the instructions. There is a little more to it, than just changing your pic on the monitor. You have to create it, burn it with the rest of the nav. software....etc. I used this link to update mine, but I did not make my own splash screen, instead I used the one that's there. ...and it looks like one on your avatar.
