I went 20% up front, 30% in the rear. The rear is a bit darker, but the contrast is nice and not noticeable. This is what I would recommend if you wanted to go dark.

I know the rears are already tinted with the factory privacy glass. I dont think its dark enough and would like to see some pics of what other guys have done.

Can you guys post your tint jobs and what percentage they are.
What color is your interior? I just had mine done at the limit here in massachusetts (35%). I've got friends at BMW and they told me right away that the tint looks darker when you have black interior. They're right as far as i'm concerned. My tint on my passat is against a beige interior and it does not look nearly as dark as my X5 w/ black interior. Also, IMO, the same tint % all around looks better than darker/lighter combo. Thats my 2 cents.
I know you want pics, i'll post a couple later.

i agree - 35% front will match the rears

you can do 20 front, 35 (or 30) rear to help match

make sure they put up a sample on the front windows to see in general how it would look in contrast to the rear. also note the light through the windshield will tend to make the front glass seem lighter.

Anyone have pics of the 20% up front and 35% on the rear privacy glass?
