Thanks for the pics, definately looks much better than the full orange waffle lens's from the early (prefacelift) X5's.
My h/lights are exactly the same as yours except for the waffle removal. Been procrastinating for some time now as different options are tabled by members here.

Intending to go with Xenons with CCFL angel eyes at some stage, along with (preferably) removing the amber waffles altogether. See Richi rich's X5 for the optimum look in headlights (IMO).

Lovely looking X5.
