Missing Fuses - anyone care to help with the mystery?

Cleaning up the X5 recently I took a good look in the fuse box mounted in the glove box and noticed that a number of fuses were not installed. While that in of itself is not unusual, I thought it interesting that a few of the missing fuses did have contacts present while others did not. In addition, one of the fuses was present, and did have contacts, but was for an option that my car doesn't have, the heated steering wheel (fuse #29) which means that it's pre-wired for it.

In any case, if anyone has any information to add to the following missing fuses, I'd be interested in hearing it!

Fuse # / Contacts Present ? / Purpose of fuse (if known)

17 / No / Listed for 'outside mirror' (along with 6, 20, 24, 60)
18 / No / ?
19 / Yes / ?
22 / No / ?
30 / Yes / ?
35 / Yes / ?
38 / No / ?
49 / Yes / ?
50 / No / ?
56 / Yes / ?

I guess I should have specified it's a US model 2005 X5, which probably already explains the 2 differences.

hey i have a question here too.. Long story short, stupid me pulled out a daylight light and cut it off because i wanted to try something, everything worked smooth until i touched the + and - together, im guessing fuse went out on me... Now I checked every single fuse in the glove box and in the back and they all seem to be OK, but there is not electricity in those two wires when i checked it... What am i missing here?
