Brake Pads????

there are so many different brake pads out there. How do you know that you are buying the right ones. When I had my Audi A4, I purchased brake pads from Auto Zone and they did not give off much brake dust and they lasted longer than any others that I had ever put on.

If you want to be sure you are getting the right ones, you should buy replacement brake pads from the dealer. Anything else is a an experiment, a test, a compromise, a trade-off of sorts between cost, dust, noise, life, pedal feel, initial bite, and so on.

Many of us have been happy with Axxis Deluxe Plus, but that is with our driving styles, our bedding-in techniques, and so on.

I had axxis deluxe for 30k, they area clean, quiet pad, but they do not have the cold bite of the factory pads. I went back to the dusty factory ones and like them better.

EBC red stuff is great, so great I went through them a little faster than I should have. I think I was just driving too fast.

I'm trying Akebono on the rears. Can I bed them properly if I am only getting the rears replaced?

We have a large selection of pads available and all of our parts are applicated specific to each model. Let us know what year / motor you have and we can get a link to everything available for your specific application.

There are quite a few pads out there, some are great stock replacements, some offer a bit more bite. We would be happy to help get you into a set of pads that suites your driving style and needs.
