Rear CD changer MP3 compatable?

Hi, Does anybody know whether the optional 6 CD holder in rear reads MP3 CD's? Or does it only read regular CD's? (This is for an '06 X5) Thanks.

Depends on the production date of the CD Changer. But mine is a MY06 and reads MP3s.
