It is possible, but not common at all. It isn't copper contact rings or anything like that, just one plug they had to unplug.

what I meant is that the horn works but only at full power...it used to sound nicer, louder...

Could it be one of the two horns going out? It has a high tone and low tone... my low tome is starting to flake out too. Makes me want a loudass horn to replace then with, almost like a train horn but without needing an air supply system.
