Fitch fuel catalyst
I found I can run a 89 octane without ill effects, but thought this could provide premium results with the 87 octane. I tried running 87 octane (by mistake) in the X5 and it did not like it. Read where someone had chipped their vehicle and mapped it for premium fuel after they added the Fitch unit. They did not have any issues when running low octane fuel. ie, no ping and good response.

how about you just put in the recommended octane. 91 or better. better performance and fuel economy for an extra $4.00 per tank.
