HELP, intermittent alternator charging 4.8is

Faults coming up as you'd guess, self level, tran failsafe etc

Been in to main dealer and the intermittent alternator fault was the read out.

Do you think this could be the voltage regulator or is a new alternator needed ??

Revs seem to be really low at idle and this is when messages usually flash up when pulling off from stand still or breaking and revs drop low low

IMOLAredNC4.8is is an unknown quantity at this point
Im having the same exact issue right now. Dealer tested my alternator and said it was fine. They replaced my EHC module because they said there was a fault in that module setting of those codes. I am picking the car up today hoping that it fixed the issue. Let me know if you figure anything else out about your 4.8is with that issue. Did you lose power steering at all and did your ABS light come on?

Lost power, lots of lights on dash radio goes off, nav monitor goes off, speedo drops to 0 then back up ??

But with the Door slightly open (not closed tight so the door open warning is on there's nothing ?? Only the battery light flashes on and off....

I'm guessing it's the alernator
