What type of unit are you planning on buying from eBay? Some can, some cannot.
It will most likely not make sense to get it without nav, but post a link to what you are looking at on ebay. |

You need a different harness to connect the nav display...I'm pretty certain that
you can't just use it for radio control without the proper harness. Even if you can, you would not be able to see what you were tuning to as the display is controlled by the navigation computer. I guess the cluster would have some info, but it would be a lot of trouble and I don't think it's possible anyway (unless you retrofit the proper wiring harness).

euro vehicles with TV function with out NAV can use the radio display, the video module controls the outputs RGB signals to the display. still the radio will not work unless you retrofit the BM53/54 radio. So it would be pointless to install the display without the Nav computer $700 or Video Module $1000.
