Anyways, I already went and bought a 140amp (which mine is) from NAPA. It's a Bosch Remanufactured with a Lifetime Warranty. It's coming from Georgia, so I'll probably get it Wednesday.

I decided not to go with an Alternator that is lower than what was in there. Mine is a Valeo 140 Amp.

I also can't believe no one can chime in on your question of something between your Battery and Alternator. I also think there has to be.
Ah, needed this post as my Alt is dying again. At least it lasted 4 years. I may have an issue replacing it under warranty as I can't find my paperwork, ughhh. I may just remove it and replace the Voltage Regulator, which is probably what is wrong with it.

After all my issues I had with alternators & batteries, I discovered I had a bad ignition switch/module. The faulty switch would drain the battery and give the flashing battery light when driving. After replacing the switch, all battery problems went away. I sold it a year later, was still working fine.
Good Luck!
