How do I change my transmission fluid?
I need to change my tranny oil, I have 130k and have not changed it once. Bmw says it is lifetime but I am pretty sure it's not. Anyways If anyone could just tell me how to drain the fluid and how put the new oil in, I would greatly appreciate.

"Lifetime fluid," do you good people find this as funny as I do? I just cracks me up everytime I hear that.
![]() Is it logical to believe that any transmission will last longer if the fluid is never changed or vice versa? Does anyone know the real reason why they say not to replace the fluid? I think I'll take my chances and change mine too, I just hope I can get my hands on some more of that lifetime fluid. Nobody seems to have it except for the BMW dealership.
