what would the 6 speed tranny have to do with it.You mean it might be varying between gears all the time at low rpms?like between the 5 and 6th?but thats not normal as well.Anyone else with the same problem?

imo i don't believe it's a problem, my experience with a 4.8is lead me to believe that it seemed to be constantly hunting for gears in lower rpm range, perhaps a result of the 6th gear

the higher rpm range was sharp and responsive. I never had this issue with the 4.6is' 5 gears.

I've heard other owners complain about this but i think it's a natural function. Some have opted for Dinan software or sprintbooster for more responsiveness in lower gears.
