What is this wire set up?

I was changing my control arms and I noticed that there was this wire pivot set up on the passenger side lower control arm.

What is this and why is there not one on the right side as well?

You are correct Mr. amacman. I want to bring this back to life because I just had the wire that attaches to that sensor wrap around my CV boot and tore the S out of it, and it always happens on the weekend when I can't buy anything. I was wondering if you had a part number or a place to get it for the wire itself. I found the sensors and CV boot but nothing for the wire . Thank you
