Brighter Halo Bulbs Available?

Was looking at the wimpy 12v-10watt bulbs that illuminate the halo/angel eye rings on my 2005 X5. The bulb looks pretty standard...single filament, two prong base, prongs not offset etc. There has got to be a 20, or even 55watt bulb, that would brighten that up. The "kits" I have seen with LED's for well over $100-$200 are ridiculously priced, in my opinion.
Just curious if any of your MEGA MODDERS have tackled this for a reasonable price, with favorable results.

I have seen the LED solutions that Bavarian Autosport and umnitza.com and for the price, there has got to be something more simple.

SailBoatStuff Miniature Bayonet, Flange & Screw Base Light Bulbs

They offer a 20w version of the bulb in the angel eye bulb socket. It doesn't make a noticeable difference unfortunately, IMO.

If you want a kit you can rely on, that does not have heat sink issues, and that obviously looks great, well it's going to have to be Angel iBright. You've probably read about them on this forum once or twice before, and believe the hype, these angel eyes are truly amazing, and in my honest opinion, totally worth the money:

They're also going to cause radio interference (static with some stations) and they're going to flicker when you first start up your car, regardless of whether or not you have them on.

I bought the Ebay LEDs and I found all this out the hard way. Send 'em back or donate them to charity. Then pony up the extra coin for the good ones.
