Brighter Halo Bulbs Available?
Was looking at the wimpy 12v-10watt bulbs that illuminate the halo/angel eye rings on my 2005 X5. The bulb looks pretty standard...single filament, two prong base, prongs not offset etc. There has got to be a 20, or even 55watt bulb, that would brighten that up. The "kits" I have seen with LED's for well over $100-$200 are ridiculously priced, in my opinion.
Just curious if any of your MEGA MODDERS have tackled this for a reasonable price, with favorable results. I have seen the LED solutions that Bavarian Autosport and umnitza.com and for the price, there has got to be something more simple.
