That's almost too good to be true ($30K). I checked ALL OVER the country...You will not find one ADVERTISED for that price ANYWHERE. The auctions are listing them for $33.5 - $35.5...Anyone can verify that with Manheim. If you got that deal...You got the STEAL of the century. Good job. As far as an E70 for that price...MAYBE a 3.0. No thanks. A similarly equipped (like an E53 4.8is) 4.8i would be near $50K. I could have had a 2007 4.8i with NO SPORT, NO NAV for $45K. No thanks. Rather have the 2006 4.8is for $40K. If you can find one, post it up! Someone might be grateful! My .02.

Yeah, I was really happy to get that deal. We agreed on price and then I asked him if it had any factory or CPO warranty left. We found out later that it was covered under CPO warranty, which he hadn't factored in when pricing it.

Yeah...You got the best deal in the country that was advertised! lol Again Kudos to you!
I HAD what appeared to be the best deal out there...ADVERTISED anyway. An 05' 4.8is with 38K miles for $29,900. It was a blue one on Autotrader. Was far from perfect with NO WARRANTY. Had air bag issues, bad thrust rod bushings, scuffed wheel, dings, etc., etc. Not a good deal when you factor in the couple of thousand to make it perfect and then a warranty. So your deal is NOT the norm. An 06' (not an 05') with NO issues in near perfect shape with low miles is at least $35K.

There are e70's out there...If you don't care about the options...But a 4.8i with good options and low mileage for $36? NO WAY.
Plus, they are completely different cars. Plenty of posts on this. Orange to an apple.

Have a friend that just picked up one of these for 36K with the CPO and less miles. He had to drive a couple thousand miles but the price was worth it.
