Passenger Side wiper not going down

Hey guys,

Passenger side window wiper is not resetting back to the lowest position.
It stays about 5 inches higher on the windshield than usual.

The wipers work fine, no noise or anything.

This happened after I may have used them to frequently to brush snow and ice off the windshield.

I have tried "helping" it down so that it's where it used to be, but it wont budge.

Any ideas?

I'm guessing the drivers side operates normally, just the passengers doesn't go down all the way? If so the weight of the snow probably just spun it on its mount. You should be able to loosen the nut at the base, work it free (by pushing on the shaft near the base like you're giving it cpr) then retighten it in the correct position.
