Short .pdf of 4.6is info.

Was curious on the bore and stroke of the motor... as I'm looking into some camshafts and headwork in the near future.

Attached is some info. A lot of it old, but hopefully some is new (to you).

Very cool...Thanks

BTW...have you done any track runs for 0-60 or 1/4 mile times on that supercharged bad boy of yours?

It's certainly that time of year... air intake temps are down.

The transmission has been a trooper the whole 98K miles with blower (and 2K without). I think she's good for one more hard launch. IMHO, This is the only place where the 5-speed would be preferred over the 6-speed trans. I think a new trans will be needed soon though... with my luck, haha.

When I get some numbers, I'll post up.

Cool...lookin' forward to it

If i recall correctly, i managed 6.3 / 6.6 / 14.9 on 0-60 / 62 / 1/4 mile on my stock 4.6iS with only an air intake and resonator delete, less than 1/4 tank gas, pre-tow hitch, and pre-under ride guard. I'm convinced i could pull better #'s with the experience i've gained since.

Oh and cool thread

Great info. Can you post the entire file? I'd like to read all the info on the model range.

So it says the 4.6is brakes are specific to that vehicle, which I figured. How much more does a brake job cost on that than the standard 4.4/3.0 models?
