Question 2009-2 Prof Mapset

I have a 2004 X5 3.0 D with a MK IV sat nav. I recently bought a 2009-2 Prof nav dvd from a friend who had a 2009 model X5, written off in a accident. I insert the dvd into my system but it says it is the incorrect disc. Does anybody know if it is not compatible? Thank you.

Correct me if I am wrong but as far as I know new iDrive bimmers have different maps. I have also MK IV and 2009-2 CD instead of DVD.
