As you know, it deployed certain aspects of the airbag systems. It deployed the seatbelt pretensioners to hold you in place. (as you see and took pics of)
The next part is your problem... the BST. Battery Safety Terminal. There is actually a pyrotechnic charge in the positive battery terminal that blows the terminal apart in a wreck to disconnect the power from most things. You need to buy a new positive terminal. It is only a foot or two long and is an easy bolt on replacement. Just need to get the airbag light cleared after that and the seatbelt pretensioners are replaced. Looks like you made out easy, just the aforementioned airbag system parts, bumper cover and mounts/shocks and exhaust looks bent, did you by chance need an excuse to get some exhaust work done? If I were in your place I'd get the estimate done and get the check cut by the insurance and do the work myself. But it may be worth it to just have the work done while driving a rental car. (there is no better way to re-appreciate the X5 than to drive a rental for a few days)
