HOEN HID match or HID kit?

So I want my fogs to match my Xenon HID headlights, I can't stand the yellow look of the fogs. I am reading about the HID kits available which require some wiring etc and I also came across some threads regarding the HOEN which seem to match pretty close. One common theme I am seeing is the longevity of the HOEN bulbs, most are saying 6 months and one side blows out etc, are these people just having bad luck? Has anyone had the HOENS for any significant amount of time? Should I just go HID?

29.99 for HOEN
vs
65.00 foor HID

Not a ton of money but one is double the other.

Thoughts?

If you are considering some cheap HID system I say pass on it. Get the HOEN Bulbs, you are better off.

www.hidextra.com sells HID kits for $60 (after coupon code, I'll find it later if you're not in a huge rush) w/ a 2 year warranty...that almost as much as people pay for those Sylvania bulbs that are wanna be HID's.

I've never used them, but people on the Blazer forums that I read once in a while has given nothing but good reviews and compliments, along w/ the vendor posting in regards to their willingness to replace anything that goes wrong w/ them, no questions asked.

with everyone's recommendation to just go with the HID kit, considering the price difference isn't all that much. The light output is much much better with the HID kit vs any halogen bulbs.

Found the coupon code..."besthid-m". I also found out that this is $60 shipped, which makes it even better. They swear that the digital ballasts will stop the flickering problem that Sobi and I couldn't fix, and guarantees no error codes...just make sure to ask for the free capacitors when ordering. Ironically the passenger side halogen foglight went out yesterday, and while I have to H1's HID's left over from past cars, mine takes the H3's intead. I've got a set on order, so I'll do my own right up and review once I get them.
