Damaged tire
Hey guys,
I got a flat tire over the weekend (front passenger side) when I hit a rock at 70km/h on a dirt road heading to my hunting cabin and it caused a 1" gash on the side of the tire. I'm pretty sure you cannot repair this tire so my question is, can I simply replace the tire or do I need to replace both fronts or all four? I have three summers on these tires (~24,000 kms (~15,000 miles) on them) Since it's an AWD vehicle, I have heard differing opinions so I thought I'd ask here. Also, in jacking the vehicle with the factory jack, it actually bent while going up and made things difficult to put the spare on... a bit surprised how flimsy the jack is. DF
