Guys check this out....pixel repair and GT1 cheap

Hi,look what I found on ebay,the same seller's got a flex ribbon cable for the instruments cluster pixel repair
I think I am gonna get one of those since I already opened the cluster and removed the LCD screen cleaned the terminals and 90 % of my pixels are back w/out changing the ribbon flex cable.
Here's DIY to open the cluster :
PIXEL FIX DIY write up, about a 2 hour job and some patience (Long pic warning)

I found out from russian bmw forum and guys were able to fix their clusters like that for years already w/out spending a lot of money.
here a GT1 :
I am wondering if it's gonna work,probably there's some kind of risk involved,but if it's a clone of the Original one,I would try it myself :
