First Mod: M Steering Wheel
Second: Titanium Trim
Third: Dinan Air Intake or Aluminum Running Boards

This is my plan. I get a hold of my 4.6 this weekend! I already have my M Wheel. Kind of putting the ole cart before the horse......

Performance:
1. DINAN Software
2. Air Intake (Either Filter replacement or CAI)
3. DINAN Exhaust

Safety:
1. Brakes (Either Brembo Upgrade or Axxis Pads (FOR PERFORMANCE REASONS)
2. Coilovers (Expensive as hell but worth it K&W)

Looks:
1. Wheels
2. M Steering Wheel (With paddle shift!)
3. Bodykit (I prefer the Hamann but...that's preference)

Sound:
1. Alpine Headunit
2. Speakers (JL Audio or Dynaudio)
3. Amplifiers for Speakers (JL or Audison)

What are the first 2 or 3 mods you would recommend for the newbies and in what order? Here's my recommendation:

1. Axxis Deluxe Plus brake pads - don't let the brake dust ruin the looks of your beautiful new wheels

2. V1/S1 combo - could help to save you money in the long run for mods 4, 5, & 6

3. Bimmer Spinners - if you want to get in with the "in" crowd
Wouldn't 1 be to get the new wheels?

Hmm...nobody kill me but just to address a common ideal on this forum...would you rather have your wheels be shiny or would you rather have a better handling, better performing, quicker stopping car?

I mean, that's why personally I would put shiny new wheels last on my list...and "looks" upgrades last (granted I am completely contradicting that by redoing my interior but that's a car audio and show thing...) I would rather spend the $6-7k that a good AC/Hamann/Dinan wheel kit would cost on maybe..a Dinan S2 package or something that would give me greatly increased performance for the same price as a shiny new wheel kit. Especially when you consider that most people will get new wheels which are larger than factory (and also most of the time heavier) thus slowing their car (granted very little) and putting more work on their brakes. So my personal feeling is that upgraded wheels should practically come last, unless you have tons of money and fall in love with a specific wheel. And also, the only way I'm upgrading me wheels is if I'm putting something like the Dinan wheels for the E90 that are +1 sizing but *reduced weight*.

06' 4.4. Can I start with the CAI first? There is no software yet. Then add more performance as time goes on or do I have to do it all at once.
