Trade in 3.0 for 4.4?

I have a 2006 CPO 3.0 X5 and have an opportunity for a 2005 CPO X5 4.4 with 45,000 miles with just about every option including an aero kit. My issue is I am 9K upside down in my 3.0. Is it really worth it for more bells and whistles? My 3.0 has premium, winter package & privacy glass. The 4.4 has it all. My payment would also remain the same with no money down. Is it worth doing?

None of us can know your financial situ, or needs, but why go $9Gs upside down
for a year older car? If you need to tow, maybe; otherwise makes lil' sense to me.

The only time that I feel like I need more than my 3.0i in real life (for my situation) is when I am on this board. As soon as I log off of this board, my 3.0 has more than enough power for my daily routines.

I would not lose $9k on my 3.0 to replace it with a 4.4i. Frankly, even if they paid me enough to bring my 3.0 losses to zero, I still can't justify paying $4-5k more for a 4.4 of similar year/mileage/condition (again, for my usage purposes). Every time I think about upgrading to a 4.4, I remind myself that I can spend that extra $4-5k on ALL future repairs and maintenance that my current car may need in coming years.
