Heat exchanger leaking after water pump replacement

Getting ready to put the fan clutch +shroud bak on and notice a very slow leak coming from oil heat exchanger.
Anyone replaced this before? I just wonder about oil inlet/oulet hose(item 1 & 2), do you need special tools to unhook them from the exchanger?

I wonder if I wiggled the thermostat housing a little too much. here is the picture (item 11)
