BeGuud is on a distinguished road
First, great work Ricky Bobby and Terminator. I really enjoyed reading this thread. This is my first post on the forum although I have read quite a bit.

I was attempting to connect the fogs on my X5, built in 2000. When I connect a wire between the switch (pin 8) and the LCM (pin 45 on the middle connector) I did not get a light on my dash when I press the button. I have seen this described as a problem with the early cars and a kind of a make or brake for the project.

Do you guys know why this does not work for the early models ? Is it the LCM it self or is it a connector from the LCM to the dash (and does anyone know the wiring setup for that?). I have not checked the TCM for voltage output.

thanks
