Glovebox Flashlight Power Gone

As far as I can tell, the flashlight power port is on the same fuse circuit as the glovebox lights, yet suddenly I get no power there.

I remember when I first purchased the flashlight conversion wire it would not work at that time either. I informed the Service Advisor, and they made some "adjustment" that then sent power to the port.

Any ideas as to what could have cause me to lose power there?

It's a key powered source. My XM radio unit runs off the flashlight socket. I have an adapter. XM turns on when I crank it up. I wonder if the GMIII controls it.

Glovebox Flashlight Power...is it F36?

I use the same switched-power source to trigger the main relay for my aftermarket engine cooling fan. I looked into my research files, and came up with this:

Yes, this is what I was looking for. I'm currently modifying a flashlight I pulled from the wreckers to power my dashcam. I think the wires may have touched and popped that fuse which you kindly indicated for me.

Get a flashlight adapter. I run my XM radio module with an adapter. It works great.
