I had a terrible experience with Fishcake (ebay seller). I am having serious issues with condensation, and not only were they argumentative, implying that I was lying about the condensation, but they offered no help at all.

Hi all,

just put that one on her: Angel Eyes Scheinwerfer Set, passend für BMW X5 Typ E53, Mod. Bj. 5/00-2003, Ausführung Klarglas Schwarz.: Amazon.de: Auto & Motorrad

Angel Eyes are not LED but to be honest - I do not care. She looks 5 years younger now and I believe that is a good thing for a lady

Regards, Helmuth

So are the angel eyes bright enough to be seen during a sunny day?

Jordo,

they are of course not as bright as the LED ones but compared to the original BMW ones they look the same. I will attach a picture. If you compare the brightness of the low beam to the angel eyes - I would say bright enough. They are equipped with Halogen and with leveling motors. Additional I have seen a sticker on them with an explanation on how to switch from LHD to RHD - but did not check that in detail. Last and not least... Made in Taiwan which seems to be more quality then Made in China nowadays

Had Chinese ones half a year ago but that was a real mess:

first package - axes of the leveling motor broken.
second package - same.
third package - polarity of the LEDs not right and manual leveling buttons missing.

So I had to send all 3 back.

Best Regards, H

the only reason i would buy these is for the clear side mark rather than to have the standard yellow side mark which looks like grannys headlights. BMW has a special going right now for 1000 bucks you can get the Euro set OEM. so im going to prob hop onto it before its too late. those things cost 3k

$1000!!!! That's still easily 2x what they're worth. If you want clear corners for FREE, just bake them open and remove the yellow lenses. If you spend $1000 on even OEM ones, you're still going to have those dated looked plastic rings around the low beam and blocking the highbeam. Please don't waste your money and get off the "stock BMW parts are the best" bandwagon, because that's simply not the case.
