Here's just what I got FREE for the X....

I am so stoked, I had to share this story. I was cruising CL this morning and saw an ad for a FREE roof mount ski box. I thought it was going to be hagged out but the owner only used it once or twice. It's off an '01 X5 and the clearcoat on the fiberglass is perfect other than a few minor scuffs. It's BMW OEM and really looks great. The only thing was he lost the key and it was locked. So down to the locksmith and $50 later, I have a perfect ski tote or luggage storage box. I probably won't use it very much but the price is right for the flexibility it will give me. I don't know what it retails for at the dealer, but I'm guessing $400-$500.
