Trunk opens on its own (haunting?)

With 160K miles on the Odo, my Isuzu Rodeo hatch glass started popping itself while on the highway. I could hear what sounded like the electronic latch releasing (actually it was just the sound of the glass being released) and then I would be rolling down the highway at 70MPH with the hatch open.

I cured it of this bad habit by spraying the latching mechanism with brake cleaning fluid; and then after it dried, I hit it with spray lithium grease.

It doesn't do it any more.

I know it is not the same system as the X, but I leave it to you to evaluate whether or not it will help. Standard disclaimer ("I am not responsible for your results") applies.

Forget the foam gasket just apply some silicon been working great for me.
