What about the auto leveling feature. I assume since I have the halogen lights, I wont have any prewire or control module to operate the auto levelers. Is this a problem?

Not at all, if the feature was not present to begin with - nothing's missed.

Sorry for the 20 questions - just want to make sure it will be a good fit.

Since I don't have auto leveling now, but the depot product supports it, I assume the headlights can be manually adjusted for proper aim, etc?

Questiosn are welcomed, you might even help someone that hasked asked a specific question on the thread yet.

Manual adjustment is avaialble as well on the lamps.

Being in AU might be a little different, but I've had luck w/ using www.hidextra.com. Got my conversion kit for $60 shipped w/ resistors (you have to specifically ask for them when ordering) and everything after using the coupon code "besthid-m". I've also heard good things abiout www.ddmtuning.com. Personally though, after only paying $60 for mine w/ a 2year warranty, I don't understand why anyone would pay a penny more...you being the exception though since the shipping will probably be more.

Questions are welcomed.
Maybe I'm missing something, but aren't those the same ebay headlights that are like $150? or is your $550 asking price basically the ebay headlight, you installed the angel eyes and it comes w/ the HID conversion kit? I don't have projectors currently on my X5, so i'd like to upgrade to something w/ a projector, upgrade to an HID conversion kit and have angel eyes. I'm not a fan of Umshitnza either, but I'm confused as to what makes your headlight superior to the ebay version, sans your LED angels.

Do you sell your angel eyes seperately, and how much brighter are these compared to the CCFL versions that are all over ebay for $50? Side by side comparisons of their light output would be awesome. I installed a set of the CCFL's in another X5, but I've never seen these 60 LED version in person to compare them.

These recently entered the market, the older ones were likely the Sonic or other unbranded lamps, the quality is terrible.

The 60 LED Angel Eyes are from DEPO and are exactly the same as the Orion V2 brand, we perform no work to the lamp. I do not recommend CCFL Angel Eyes as these are very problematic, especially in colder climates.

Are you not willing to sell the angels seperately though? I'm guessing you'd be asking around the $100 range for them. I know the CCFL ballasts have reliability issues, but at like $30-$40, we really can't go wrong for the time being till LED's become the more mainstream way to go.

The Angel Eyes are part of the headlight assembly from DEPO, they are not available seperately.
