MAXIMUM COOLING EFFECT BUTTON HELP...

The air con buton , the one next to the fan control buttons , has stopped working
it does not even light up when pressed
The other air con button works the one under the the demisting button
Could this because the out side temp is lower than the interior of the car
please help

No, more than likely a broken switch. My rear defroster button doesn't work any longer, except I think it is stuck in the on position - when I get in my car and start it, the rear defrost automatically comes on and then times out after 15-20 minutes, however I cannot manually turn it on or off.

button only works when it is above 60 degrees for max cooling.
